Briana Rios, 19, was charged with running a gambling house between October and December 2011, taking bets on NFL and NBA games. 

She ran her gambling operation from Transfer Xpress, a money transfer shop on Pembroke Rd. 

Briana went to Miami Senior High School and according to her ex-boyfriend, she was making over $10,000 a day.

At a hearing, assistant Public Defender Terry Conover said she may have just been a clerk at the money transfer shop but, on Friday Judge John Hurley disagreed with that claim.
