MIAMI — Another rumor broke out today after a Foxconn employee stated that the next generation iPhone will make it’s debut this Summer…June to be precise. Now, how this person is sure that Apple will release it in a couple months is unknown.
He also stated that Foxconn was hiring around 18,000 new workers at the factory for the next-gen iPhone.
Rumors also arose that the next iPhone may catch on the latest iPad’s name: The New iPhone.
Wild rumors have started before on when the ‘iPhone 5’ would release, but to many this seems like a legit one.
An Oakland Christian university experienced a tragic event today after a gun man bursted into classrooms opening fire on any student in the bullet’s path. Good news though, the possible suspect is in police custody.
The school has been identified as Oikos University.
There were several students whom suffered injuries and were rushed to the hospital immediately. The reason of the shooting still unknown, and it’s still unknown whether the man had a specific target.
The shooting occurred at around 10am and the suspect was in custody by 12:20pm. Those injured were wheeled out of the building shortly after 11am.
Police described the shooter as a Korean male with a heavy build, wearing khaki pants.
It’s been less than a month since the viral 30-minute documentary “Kony 2012” was unveiled to the world. Now, Invisible Children is confirming that they will be releasing a second short film this week.
IC executive, Jedidiah Jenkins, told reporters over the weekend that they are preparing themselves to release the second film about the leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) Joseph Kony.
Despite the controversy circulating around the media on the organization, they are still hopeful with this next film.
So I saw the movie last night and I did in fact finish the book before seeing it, so that way I can compare and contrast both. I’ll start off by saying that this movie was very, very lengthy and I did start hoping it would end already. The movie runs for around 2 hours and 22 minutes, but it felt much longer.
I’m going to start off by saying that I did enjoy the book more than the movie, and I did notice some (minor & major) parts that were in the book but not in the movie. I know the book described the people in the capitol to be weirdly dressed in the book, but I really wasn’t feeling it too much in the movie, it all seemed too childish. Then again it is a PG-13 movie.
The movie was extremely shaky and I did get a lot of motion sickness from the fight scenes and even the basic scenes were too shaky. During the fight scenes in the arena, I barely knew what was going on cause of this issue. I really think this movie should have a sign outside warning people about motion sickness.
The movie was overall great, and it did have some moments that left me at the edge of my seat. I’d recommend people see it at a normal theater (Not worth the IMAX price).
Rumors have been floating around that social networking site Facebook may have something up their sleeves, a new search engine. Should Google be afraid? Will people love the new idea? Or will they hate it like the timeline feature.
According to a Businessweek report, a team of around 20 Facebook engineers are at work on a new search engine that may be based off of your friends’ taste and your location.
Mashable contacted Facebook to at least have some more details on this report, but they said “We don’t comment on rumors and speculation around products.”
Dilcie Fleming, an 88-year old great-grandmother, has been receiving hundreds of calls from random numbers after pop star Justin Bieber tweeted her number. It was meant to be a prank, but she isn’t feeling so happy about it.
The lady’s phone has been ringing non-stop after Bieber told his 19 million followers to call him “right now”. Fleming, in an interview with ABC news, said “I had no idea what was going on.” “I was told that this young man put up a number on tweeter, or whatever it’s called, but left off the last digit. People were punching in until they got an answer.”
Fleming stated that she has an attorney but has no plans on suing Justin Bieber. All she asks for is a written apology. I say she has an excuse now to get in direct contact with JB.
